EXPERIENCE SCUBA in the Dive Pool!

During the Marine Careers Program day, you will be able to experience scuba diving in the Dive Pool.  Free to all Marine Career Day attendees on the BTS expo weekend.

The Dive Pool is an indoor heated pool staffed with certified scuba instructors who will provide you with instruction and gear for the scuba experience.  All you need is:

  • A bathing suit and towel
  • If you are under the age of 18, you must have a ‘release form’ signed by a parent/guardian.
  • Individuals and groups requiring the form in advance can contact the Marine Careers Director at btsmarineCareers@beneaththesea.org).
  • You will be escorted to the pool in small groups, and provided with instruction and guidance from our certified scuba instructors. Students and young adults will learn to use basic scuba gear, including a mask, snorkel, fins, regulator, buoyancy control device, dive gauges and a tank.  [Please bring your bathing suit and towel!] 

The pool is also open for Friday night, Saturday and Sunday at the main Beneath The Sea exposition!

[The ‘Go Dive Now’ Pool travels around the United States for people to experience diving in a fun an easy environment.   The water is heated to 85 degrees.]
